(Sunday School)
Children are the future of Trinity Lutheran Church, and we encourage children ages 3 and up to join us at 10:30 AM on Sundays for Sunday School. We also sponsor Vacation Bible School each June, which is a ton of fun for kids of all ages!
Youth ministry includes various activities, meetings, retreats/gatherings, Bible studies, and service opportunities. The Senior High Youth space is there to study God’s word, relax, have fun, and build relationships. In addition, the LCMS National Youth Gathering, held every three years, provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to be encouraged in their walk with Jesus Christ and learn about the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity. Watch for more information on our blog and contact us with questions.
During summer vacation, Trinity offers an action-packed week of Vacation Bible School. Kids from preschool age through 6th grade explore five awesome Bible stories through worship, music, song actions, crafts, snacks, games, and stories. Typically held the second full week of June, Monday-Thursday mornings, 7th grade and older teens can volunteer to help with activities.
Family Activity Night or FAN was created to strengthen relationships within the Trinity community and grow in faith. Each FAN night will include dinner and an activity, including guest speakers, Bible Study, or a game night. FAN is for all families preschool age and up and is held on the last Wednesday of each month September through May. We look forward to seeing you and growing this ministry. Watch for details about this new activity and contact us with questions.
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML)
The LWML is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. For 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and quipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries, and to support global missions. The LWML has four active guilds that welcome new members:
- Dorcas Guild
- Ruth Guild
- Good Samaritans
Music Ministry
There are many opportunities for making music to the glory of God at Trinity Lutheran Church. If you have skill as a vocalist, instrumentalist, or handbell ringer, and are interested in using this skill in worship, please contact us to be directed to Susan Benya, Director of Music.
Hospitality & Counseling Ministries
- Stephen Ministry
- Health Ministry/Parish Nursing
- Bulletin Preparation
Stephen Ministers are trained congregational members who come alongside people during difficult times to listen, care, and provide emotional and spiritual support. All contacts are confidential. If you are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister or would like to be a care receiver, please contact the church office.
This ministry coordinates, trains, and utilizes volunteers to help meet congregational health needs. We offer blood pressure checks on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, prepare first-aid kits for church and school, and provide health information. We have an ongoing need for nurses willing to volunteer to help with blood pressure checks. Contact us to assist.
Each week, several volunteers gather to stuff bulletins on Thursday afternoons. To join in this hour-long volunteer opportunity, please contact the church office.
