School Programs
Quality education doesn’t stop when the school bell rings or when the school year ends. Our school-age Extended Care and Summer Academy programs keep students engaged year-round and before and after school.
Extended Care
Trinity Lutheran School offers an Extended Care program to families of current K-8 students. Before and after school, children can participate in enrichment activities or work with our dedicated staff to complete homework.

Summer Academy
The Trinity Lutheran Summer Academy has a great reputation for providing a fun educational experience. Enrollment is open to our students as well as the public. From Memorial Day through mid-August, this daily program helps children 12 months old through 5th grade expand their learning, develop critical thinking skills, and grow in faith. Older students explore the community with field trips to Wickiup Hill, Niabi Zoo, Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball games, bowling, ISU Extension & Outreach, the Grout Museum, and more.
